At least one person killed in crash along Highway 101 south of Rocks Road

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A significant traffic back-up is being reported after a deadly crash along Highway 101 south of Rocks Road.

CAL FIRE BEU is at the scene and shared photos showing some of the damage.

The CHP didn't provide additional details on how many vehicles were involved but confirmed at least one person is dead.

Caltrans cameras show traffic is backed up for miles, extending all the way to Crazy Horse Canyon Road.

Crews are still on scene investigating at this time.
