Bethany Fowler

December 2024
Salinas High School

Bethany Fowler
Bethany is a Senior at Salinas High School. This first semester she has maintained a 4.0GPA all while being employed part time at the 31st Grill, and most importantly as the main coach for Salinas Colts and Broncos Mighty Mite Cheer. Since July she has put in well over 100 hours with 15 girls ages 4-6 teaching them cheers, choreographing dances and attending and organizing team bonding. She took 7 of the girls to their first competition on November 10th where they got 1st place. On top of all of this work with these girls she is also in ASB at SHS as 1 of 2 athletics commissioners. Coaching the girls has been a blessing as it is giving her practice in her future goals to be a teacher as she is also taking careers in education at the ROP center. And as if this girl didn’t have enough on her plate she is taking a tennis course every Saturday at Hartnell. As her mom I am biased of course but watching her growth and commitment to these children has been amazing. She is a supportive friend and cousin and always wants the best for those around her whom she cares for.
