Steve Clark
Statement:
- Steve Clark was born and raised in California, growing up in San Jose, with his four siblings. At 21 years old, he dedicated his life to public service when he joined the Santa Cruz Police Department. Clark would serve for 30+ years with the Department overseeing various changes in the community through his tenure eventually retiring as Deputy Chief.
- Now, he's focussed his efforts to help our community flourish as we face state mandates, shifting needs for locals, and new challenges.
- I have dedicated my life to creating safe communities. As your City Council Member, I will invest in training for our first responders, support strong public safety resources, and protect the community wellbeing.
- Strong schools start with strong teachers supported by parents and the community at large. The same goes for maintaining our beautiful parks. As your council member, I will work to investment in the community and the future of Scotts Valley.
- Our community benefits when our first responders, teachers, seniors and future generations can afford to live here. Finding the balance between affordability and preserving property values is a key component.
