Krista Jett
Statement:
- I am running for City Council because I have a desire to engage with and serve the community where I have built my life and am raising my children. As a Registered Nurse with over fifteen years of experience at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford I have honed my ability to work effectively with diverse teams under pressure, advocating that every voice is heard and every proposed solution is well-considered.
- In healthcare, collaboration is key to delivering the best patient care, and I believe the same principle applies to city governance. My background as a nurse and mother of two young children has taught me how to listen actively, respond thoughtfully, and address complex issues with empathy and efficiency.
- I believe that these skills will translate well in working with fellow council members and constituents to tackle our city's challenges and seize new opportunities. I am passionate about equal representation, providing resources and opportunities for our children, and thoughtful city development. I am also committed to transparent communication and inclusive decision-making. With your support, I will bring my skills and determination to the City Council, where I will strive to do the best for our city and its residents.
