Statement:

  • My priorities are Public Safety, Fiscal Accountability and Community Development. I believe in transparency and accountability. I take a realistic, no-nonsense approach to problem solving. I am results driven. I base decisions on data and facts. I treat all people with courtesy, dignity, and respect. I believe in and commit to civility in politics.
  • I have been married for 38 years. I have 2 adult children. My wife and I have owned our home in Hollister for 26 years.
  • If elected, I will donate all money I earn as a council member to local scholarships for our local students. I believe our youth are our future.
  • I have paid for my campaign with my own money. I have not accepted one cent from anyone. I am not for sale. I will represent the needs and interests of the residents of District 4, not my own personal agenda. I will do the right thing for the right reason which is because it is the right thing to do!
  • I am a San Jose State graduate. I understand how government works. I have worked for the cities of Hollister, Visalia, Fresno and Spokane Washington and the county of Monterey and San Joaquin.
