JOSE ARANDA

Statement:

  • As we look forward to the future, it's important not to lose sight of what has made San Juan Bautista a charming historic village.
  • I have decided to run for City Council, to increase city revenue, support our small businesses, bring higher quality jobs for our residents, repave our roads, and improve our infrastructure. In order to preserve this beautiful historic town, our city council needs a strong voice to represent our values, moral and ethical leadership, and fiscal responsibility.
  • I'm excited to leverage my experience, skillset, and passion to bring fresh ideas to the community. I take pride in being able to give back to our community and serve our residents through community engagement. I look forward to contributing and creating a well thought out, fiscally strong, and sustainable future for our city.
  • When my better half and I moved to San Juan Bautista a few years ago, we felt a strong and immediate connection to this town. We had been looking for an alternative to a big city, where people can take the time to get to know one and another, and are never far from green open spaces, fresh air, peace and quiet.
  • With that being said, we plan to root ourselves into this small town, raise a family, and enjoy life in the slow lane. We are looking forward to building positive relationships and establishing common connections within the San Juan Bautista community.
  • I humbly ask for you to take action and vote to elect me as your city council member in the November 2022 election. There is so much to look forward to, and I am determined to make our city a more prosperous community for all families to live, work, and pursue their dreams.
