Nearly 8,000 PG&E customers without power in Salinas on Saturday

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) - On Saturday, nearly 8,000 PG&E customers are without power in Salinas, according to the utility.

The affected areas include neighborhoods west of North Main Street near West Laurel Drive. Additionally, some customers in the Rossi-Rico Parkway area are also without power.

According to PG&E, this is an unplanned outage in the area and the estimated restoration time is scheduled for 6 p.m. The utility also did not cite a cause for the outage.
