Woman suffers burns in Capitola sturcture fire
CAPITOLA, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A woman suffered major burn injuries on her hands and legs after a fire in Capitola.
The fire broke out Sunday morning with Capitola Police and Central Fire responding on Capitola Avenue.
When entering the building, a Capitola Police officer found a woman who had been burned on her legs and hands.
She was airlifted to a nearby trauma center for treatment as fire crews knocked down the fire. She Is reported to be in stable, but serious condition.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by Central Fire Arson.
