Hollister begins West Gateway Roundabout project this month

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The City of Hollister is beginning the first steps in its West Gateway Roundabout project this month.

The project is expected to begin in partnership with Graniterock with a three-phase plan to construct the roundabout at the intersection of 156B and Graf Road starting on April 21.

The first stage will see Graf Road at 156B closed. After, Graf Road at 156B will remain closed during the second stage with Bridge Road open. Finally, the third stage will see Bridge Road at 156B closed.

Two-way traffic will be maintained for drivers with detours in the area.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Another project will be Section 1 Grind and Overlay which will see the repaving of areas across Hollister including Verde Circle and Ortiz Court, Racnhito Court, and Gonzalez Drive.
