One person dead after being hit by vehicle in Moss Landing

MOSS LANDING, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A person is dead after being hit by an unknown driver near Moss Landing.

According to the CHP's public traffic incident information page, a vehicle hit a pedestrian around 2:44 a.m. at Doland Road near Avila Avenue.

The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Thao Van Le of San Jose.

Dolan Road near Avila Avenue was shut down in the early morning while CHP investigated the scene.
