Massive outage in Seaside leaves customers without power

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A power outage in Seaside has left thousands of customers without power.

The unplanned outage has affected 6,919 customers in parts of Seaside and Sand City including the Monterey Regional Airport.

According to PG&E's Outage Map, their team is evaluating the electrical system to make the repairs needed to bring power online.

There is no estimated restoration time.
