Portion of Porter Gulch Road closed because of fallen tree across roadway, CHP says

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- CHP Santa Cruz says Porter Gulch Road is closed after a tree fell over, landing across the roadway.

The CHP says it happened just south of Oak Ridge Road.

Officers at the scene say the closure shouldn't last all day, but for people to avoid the area until it reopens within the next couple of hours.
