34-year old motorcyclist killed in Salinas crash, police say

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Salinas Police confirmed one person was killed in a crash Thursday evening. The County of Monterey Coroner has identified the victim as 34-year-old Danny Garcia of Salinas.

The department said it happened along Maryal Drive and Laurel Drive around 5:45 p.m. According to police, the vehicle was turning left on Maryal Drive from Laurel Drive when it collided with a motorcyclist traveling east on Laurel,

Police could not immediately confirm whether there was another passenger on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
