Police looking for suspects in Salinas shooting along Williams Road

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Salinas Police said they're looking for two people they say are responsible for shooting a teen on October 20th.

Police say they were responding to reports of a shooting along the 600 block of Williams Road on that day at around 7 p.m.

Officers found an 18-year-old who was shot in the leg.

The victim is expected to be okay. Police say witnesses told them two hispanic males in dark clothing were seen running on Williams Road after the shooting.
