Report: 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk reach four-year deal

CBS Sports

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The San Francisco 49ers and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk have agreed on a four-year extension.

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the deal is worth $120 million.

This is after weeks of Aiyuk sitting out and talks of a potential trade. One of the suitors closely linked to Aiyuk previously was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aiyuk also had interest from the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.

Aiyuk spent his entire career with the 49ers after they drafted him in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.

He rejoins a franchise seeking another opportunity at a Super Bowl Championship after losing out to the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
