Seaside Police arrest one person connected to shooting

SEASIDE, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Seaside Police say they've arrested one person in connection to a shooting that happened last Monday.

According to officials, Seaside detectives tracked down and arrested a 16-year-old male who they believe was involved in the shooting.

On August 5th at around 7:15 p.m., two men were sitting in their car along Broadway Avenue when another car pulled up and started shooting. The two victims are expected to be okay. Police released a photo of the vehicle and asked for the publics help in finding it and the suspects. After a few days, responses from the community helped officers find the car near the Mid Valley shopping center.

The 16-year-old juvenile was charged with attempted murder and taken to Juvenile Hall. Detectives are continuing to work on the case to ensure all involved are identified, located and held accountable.
