Two people shot in Seaside, police sharing photo of suspect vehicle

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Two men are expected to be okay after being shot in Seaside on Monday night. Police are asking for help finding the suspects.

A photo shared by police is of the vehicle involved in the shooting. Seaside Fire and Police said in a Facebook post on Thursday, "As we always say, our community members are still the most effective crime fighting tool!" after the missing vehicle was found in Carmel Valley near Mid Valley shopping center by a few members of the community.

Officials also said that they will not stop tracking down those responsible for the shooting.

Police said the shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. on Monday along Broadway Avenue.

Two men were sitting in their car in the area when another car pulled up and started shooting.

Police said around nine shots were fired, but both men are expected to survive.

Investigators said if anyone has any information about the suspects, please contact Seaside P.D.
