Firefighters battling wildfire burning in the hills near Soledad

SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Firefighters are at the scene of a fire burning in the hills near Soledad on Tuesday night.

UC San Diego Alert California cameras show an aerial view of the fire off its Bryant Canyon 2 camera.

The fire is burning off of Bryant Canyon Road just outside of the city.

We're working to learn more preliminary information about the fire from Cal Fire at this time.

KION Chief Meteorologist Dann Cianca said conditions where the fire is burning are around 75 degrees with 59% humidity. Northwest winds at 13 mph with gusts up to 32 mph.
