APTOS, CALIF. (KION-TV)- The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office released more information regarding an incident in Aptos on Monday.

According to officials, The California Highway Patrol was involved in a failure-to-yield incident with a vehicle. During that time, the sheriff's office was requested to investigate a crime that happened prior to the pursuit. The suspect eventually came to a stop near Clubhouse Drive and St Andrews Drive.
