San Juan Grade Road near Crazy Horse Canyon Road shut down after crash knocks down power lines, CHP says

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- One person is hurt after two vehicles collided, knocking down power lines along San Juan Grade Road near Crazy Horse Canyon Road on Wednesday.

The CHP confirms to KION a vehicle overturned in the area after two cars crashed into each other and live wires are down.

A brush fire started but was quickly put out, according to the CHP.

DUI is not a factor in the crash and at least one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

No evacuations are in place at this time.

They're asking drivers to avoid the intersection for the time being while the investigation continues along the 1000 Block of San Juan Grade Road.
