PG&E: Hundreds without power near Watsonville

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- PG&E crews are out near Watsonville investigating a power outage along Sunset State Beach and other areas west of Watsonville and Pajaro.

According to PG&E, the outage was first reported around 7:18 a.m. Thursday morning.

Initially more than 1,400 customers were impacted by the outage but that number has since gone down to 643.

PG&E is investigating the cause of the outage.

Power is scheduled to be restored around noon, according to PG&E.
