Salinas Union High School District breaks ground on new classroom building at North Salinas High School

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- North Salinas High School will be getting their biggest transformation in school history.

On Monday, the Salinas Union High School District broke ground on a new two-story classroom building that will sit right next to the baseball field.

The building will consist of classrooms dedicated to ASB activities, Sports Medicine and school administration.

The project will also include a renovated parking lot and a new entrance to the school on Alvin Street.

District officials said that project will be completed by Fall 2026.
