Cal Fire stops forward progress on Idria Fire
SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Cal Fire BEU is reporting forward progress has stopped on the Idria fire burning in South San Benito County.
Firefighters said the fire burned about 29 acres before forward progress stopped.
Cal Fire said the fire is 80% contained.
No structures were threatened through the duration of the fire that sparked around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
No injuries were reported and crews will remain at the scene on Thursday to mop up any hot spots.
