KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV)- On Tuesday, the King City Council approved a list of priority projects that have gone unfunded over the years.

Some of the approved projects that were unanimously approved include improving King City Police staffing and public works staffing and street improvements.

The City Council also approved a sales tax increase for the November 2024 ballot to generate funds for finalized projects.

King City Mayor Mike LeBarre told KION they will host another public outreach session in June and hope to have the ballot measure finalized by July.
