Oregon man arrested for exposing himself inside a local business in Capitola, police say
CAPITOLA, Calif. (KION-TV)- On Tuesday, Capitola Police arrested an Oregon man who exposed himself to a woman and a girl inside of a local business.
Officers said the investigation started on Saturday when they were notified of a man committing lewd acts inside of a business on the 1800 block of 41st Avenue on April 19.
Investigators were told that a man had exposed himself and was acting extremely inappropriately towards at least two female victims, including a juvenile.
Police identified the suspect as 53-year-old Peter Henderson of Oregon. Investigators said that Henderson has ties to the Bay Area and was on felony probation.
The Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office said that Henderson is a convicted sex registrant. Henderson was located and arrested in Santa Cruz.
Henderson is booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on multiple charges including indecent exposure with a prior, solicited lewd act and probation violation.
Capitola Police said that other additional charges or enhancement could be added as appropriate by the District Attorney's Office
