San Benito High School District approves site for second high school
HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION-TV)- Hollister could be one step closer to having a second high school.
The San Benito High School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved to purchase a site on Wright Road known as the Pura Vida property.
The district will pay $2.23 million for the 49.68 acre property.
In the agreement, the district believes this location is the most logical location for their second high school.

A district spokesperson confirmed to KION that they will be having more public meetings regarding feedback from this site plus they will release renderings of the second school by early Summer 2024.
