Two Seaside men arrested for possession of narcotics, police say
MARINA, CA, (KION-TV)- Marina Police have arrested two Seaside men for allegedly having a large amount of narcotics on Monday afternoon
Police say the incident started when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a mechanical violation on the 200 block of Reservation Road around 2 p.m.
Officers said 42-year-old Marcus Crooms was found to be driving on a suspended drivers license.
Investigators said that the passenger who is 64-year-old Keith Jones had a large amount of M30 pills which contained fentanyl along with 38 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of tar heroin and over a pound of meth.
Crooms was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on multiple charges which include driving with a suspended license, possession of narcotics for sale and transpiration of a controlled substance.
Jones was booked into the Monterey County Jail on concealing evidence, possession of narcotics for sale and transportation of a controlled substance.
