Salinas Police looking for male suspect who allegedly shot at a car outside of a Jack in the Box

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- Salinas Police is looking for a male suspect who allegedly shot at a teenager's car at a Jack in the Box on Friday night.

Investigators said the shooting took place at the Jack in the Box location on the 1500 block of North Sanborn Road around 9:18 p.m.

Officers said that a teenager who is an employee at the Jack in the Box was sitting in his car during a break. The teenager told investigators that a man wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans went up to his car and started shooting at his car.

A total of seven shots were fired but they all hit the teenager's car per Salinas Police. The teenager was not injured.

Salinas Police is still investigating the shooting and also gathering surveillance footage from neighboring businesses.
