Covered California extends open enrollment period to Feb. 9

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KION-TV)- Covered California has extended the open enrollment period to get health care coverage for 2024.

The new deadline is now February 9 since the deadline was originally suppose to take effect today.

Covered California says their phone service center was recently taken off-line due to a cyber-security threat.

There is no indication that any personal information was compromised according to the state.

Any enrollment and eligibility systems were unaffected.
