California Rodeo Salinas scholarships are now open

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- The California Rodeo Salinas scholarship program is now open for students who are looking for help in their educational journey.

Rodeo officials said that Salinas Valley high school students who are attending or graduating from Hartnell College can apply for the Hartnell Rodeo scholarship. The application will open soon but more information is available here.

Scholarships will also be available for students who are part of the California Rodeo Salinas Committee. Those students will apply for the Community Foundation of Monterey County Rodeo scholarship program.

The deadline for the Community Foundation of Monterey County Rodeo program will be on March 15. The application link is here.

The Community Foundation for Monterey County Rodeo scholarship fund intends to award five $5,000 scholarships while the Hartnell Rodeo scholarship will be $2,500 scholarships to continuing students and $5000 scholarships.
