SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- CAL FIRE CZU said they extinguished a garage fire that happened early Monday morning.

Firefighters said that they were dispatched to a fire on the 15300 block of Stenson Road, just outside of Los Gatos around 2:40 a.m.

Firefighters from CAL FIRE CZU, CAL FIRE SCU and Loma Prieta Fire arrived to the scene and found a working fire in a detached garage in an unoccupied grandmother unit to the home.

CAL FIRE CZU said that the fire was knocked down within five minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no one was displaced.
