Caltrans taking submissions to name one of their snowplows

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- Caltrans is taking submissions to choose a fun name for their snowplows.

Yes, you read that correctly. Caltrans will be selecting one winner from 11 Caltrans districts that will get up to $50 in gift cards.

Caltrans said there will be an additional gift card for the winning classroom if the winner is a student in grades who are enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

There will also be a grand prize winner.

The deadline to enter is on Feb. 15 and you can participate here.
