Capitola Bank robbery suspect arrested near Half Moon Bay

CAPITOLA, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A woman is in jail in connection to a bank robbery at the Comerica Bank in Capitola.

Capitola Police said the woman is accused of passing a note to a teller at the Comerica Bank on 41st Avenue demanding cash.

No weapon was displayed but the suspect escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to Capitola Police, the suspect was in a Porsche SUV that was later located by San Mateo County Sheriff deputies near Half Moon Bay.

The robbery suspect was the driver of the vehicle and she was taken without incident.
