Tree blocking Highway 1 at Spring Creek Road to possibly reopen by midnight

BOULDER CREEK, Calif. (KION-TV)- CHP Santa Cruz said that a tree that fell and blocked Highway 9 outside Boulder Creek on Tuesday may take several more hours to clear.

CHP announced around noon that a tree had fallen and blocked teh entire roadway at Highway 9 at Spring Creek Road.

The estimate for reopening is possibly by midnight said CHP.
