CHP helps rescue loose cal on Highway 129 near Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV)- California Highway Patrol Santa Cruz dusted off the spurs on Monday after reports of a loose calf on Highway 129.

The calf was seen near Murphy Road, and responding officers took quick action to wrangle the little guy.

Caltrans provided the lasso and assisted with returning the calf to its owner, said CHP.
