Toro Park Badger Flats field to be closed until June

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- The County of Monterey's Public Works Department announced that the Badger Flats Field at Toro Park will be closed starting on Monday.

The field will be closed until June 1st due to an ongoing Toro Park Water System improvement project. The project does include cleaning and testing of the water well. County officials will have signage, fencing and boundaries set up around the work zone.

The park will remain open to the public.
