Dutch Bros Coffee breaks ground in Soledad, expected to open in 2024
SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION-TV)- UPDATE ON NOV. 9, 2023 AT 3:22 PM- Coffee lovers everywhere in South Monterey County are jumping for joy.
The City of Soledad confirmed on Thursday afternoon that Dutch Bros Coffee has broken ground at their location which sits in the area of Los Coches Road and Nestles Road near the Grocery Outlet.
An official with the city's building and safety division confirmed that construction is expected to last a couple of months and the store will be opening before Summer 2024.
This will be the second Dutch Bros location on the Central Coast with the only other location in Hollister.
Dutch Bros Coffee expected to come to Soledad in Fall
Update May 11, 2023, at 4:29 p.m.- The City of Soledad is living up to its motto after its latest announcement. As seemingly, it really is happening in Soledad these days.
The city said Thursday that Dutch Bros Coffee is expected to be granted a building permit within the next 45 to 60 days. Then nothing is preventing the popular coffee chain from construction.
The city expects construction to start during the Summer of 2023 and finish sometime in the Fall.
The location will be at the Soledad Marketplace, in the same area where the new Grocery Outlet recently opened.
