Suspect in Sunnyhills Drive and Herman Court deadly shooting arrested
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV)- Feb. 10, 2023, at 6:32 p.m.- Watsonville Police said a suspect has been arrested for a murder that occurred on the 200 block of Sunnyhills Drive on Jan. 22.
Felipe Jimenez, 29, was arrested in San Jose for the murder of Armando Eusebio Saldana, 39, of Watsonville. He was arrested Monday and charged with murder, according to Watsonville Police.
Jimenez made appeared in court Thursday morning and is scheduled to return on February 22 for his arraignment.

Victim identified in Sunnyhills Drive and Herman Court deadly shooting in Watsonville
Jan. 25, 2022, at 9:59 a.m.- The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office identified the man killed in a Watsonville shooting Sunday night.
Armando Eusebio Saldana, 39, of Watsonville, was found with a gunshot wound in the area of Sunnyhills Drive and Herman Court. He later died from injuries after being airlifted to a trauma center, said Watsonville Police.

On Monday afternoon, Watsonville Police announced that they are investigating a shooting that killed a 39-year-old Watsonville man.
Officers said the shooting took place around 8 p.m. on Sunday in the area of Sunnyhills Drive and Herman Court. Officers said their preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was shot at least once.
Family members rushed him to Watsonville Community Hospital, where he was airlifted to a trauma center.
On Monday morning, Watsonville PD was notified by doctors that the victim had passed away from his injuries. Officers told KION that they are still in the very early stages of this investigation and have no suspect information at this time.
