Items used to make deadly M-30 blue pills confiscated by Federal agents
SALINAS, Calif. (KION)
On Friday morning, agents with Homeland Security Investigations along with officers with Salinas and Soledad Police departments served a search warrant on California Street in Salinas.
Inside the home, agents say they discovered two pill press dies, which are used to manufacture narcotic M-30 pills.
Recently Monterey County has seen overdoses, some deadly, from M-30 pills that were laced with Fentanyl.
According to Soledad Police, one person was arrested and taken to the Soledad Police Department for booking.
Agents say, "this is an ongoing effort to identify and arrest those responsible for distributing dangerous drugs in Monterey County.”
