SALINAS, Calif. (KION) - A Central Coast mother is voicing her concern since receiving a bill from Natividad after her son went to get a free Covid-19 test.

Estela Medina was under the impression Covid-19 tests were administered for free at Natividad, so back on March 20th, she suggested her son to get tested after not feeling well.

She says after her son went to the triage tent to be tested and his temperature was taken, but he never received a Covid-19 test.

Now, Medina is receiving bills for her son's visit totaling more than $500 and she is not sure why.

KION will be speaking with Medina and has reached out to Natividad on why this could be and if there is anyway to prevent this from happening.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
