Pacific Grove Police rescue fawn from storm drain
Pacific Grove Police are being thanked by many residents, as they helped set a fawn free.
Monday they received a report of a fawn trapped in a storm drain. When they arrived, officers removed the drain cover and the baby hopped out on his own.
Officer Gonzalez and Animal Control Officer Conti-Yeo made a quick assessment for injuries. And the fawn was released in hopes of being reunited with it's family at the nearby golf course.
