Santa Cruz Police look for Wharf thief suspects

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Santa Cruz Police said Tuesday that they are seeking the community's help in finding two potential thieves who made off with wharf items.

"We need your help identifying the people in the photo," they asked the public.

They said that the photos were sent to the city's debris reporting email at reportdebris@santacruzca.gov.

Now, police are asking if potential witnesses could identify these men or locate the wharf plaque and call 831.420.5820 or the SCPD Anonymous Tip Line at 831.420.5995.

Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation are also asking people who might find any wharf commemorations, memorial benches or other memorabilia to email or call Parks and Rec at recreationevents@santacruzca.gov or 831-420-5270.
