In a notice from Santa Cruz County Sheriff Jim Hart, agencies will work together to make decisions on how they will respond to emergencies across the county.
This will include the sharing of critical resources and how they will prioritize ongoing incidents.
The Santa Cruz County Law Enforcement Chiefs Association made an agreement to work together under LEOC.
County agencies participating in this task force include the Sheriff's Office and police departments out of Santa Cruz, Capitola, Watsonville, Scotts Valley and UC-Santa Cruz.
