Gilroy Garlic Festival prepares for 2020 event
GILROY, Calif. (KION) Gilroy Garlic Festival organizers are now accepting applications for vendors ahead of the annual event in July. Organizers say they will be accepting applications until March 13.
Applications for volunteers have also been opened. Organizers say over 4,000 volunteers are needed to run the festival.
The 2020 festival will run from July 24 to 26.
Vendors can find applications here and those interested in volunteering can apply here.
On the last night of last year's festival, three people were killed and as many as 17 more were wounded when a shooter opened fire.
Last month, the festival's Executive Director resigned.
