Suspect arrested for multiple alleged stabbing incidents in Seaside
SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Seaside Police responded to a report of a stabbing near Canyon Del Rey Boulevard and Fremont Boulevard on Thursday around 11:40 p.m., according to police.
When officers arrived, they said that they found a victim who was stabbed multiple times in the Eucalyptus Area of Laguna Grande Park.
Officers say that they found two more victims suffering significant injuries from a violent attack, which they think was carried out by the same suspect as the other stabbing. The later attack, according to police, happened near the Hillside Area bridge.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital.
According to police, officers were able to locate and arrest 29-year-old Hector Chavez-Vega without incident. They said that they also recovered evidence that related to the crimes, including the weapon that was used in the alleged stabbing.
