Seaside Police warn people of a scam involving a fake immigration attorney

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Seaside Police announced that at least one person reported a scam going around involving a fake immigration attorney offering services to help avoid ICE interactions.

They said as they gather more information, police are urging people to remain cautious.

"Anyone calling you asking for money in return for some sense of safety or security is typically a scam," said Seaside Police.

Seaside Police is asking anyone who may be experiencing a potential scam to call them at 831.899.6748.
