Fire Destroys Prunedale Mobile Home
A structure fire in Prunedale on Friday saw flames jump from a mobile home to a barn, doing serious damage to both structures. The fire broke out just before 5 p.m. on dyer road near meridian road.
North county fire says the mobile caught on fire while a person was working on the engine. That fire spreading to the nearby barn -- both being called complete losses at the scene. The mobile home was completely engulfed in flames while the barn was about 75% involved in the fire according to firefighters.
North county fire says they were battling the fire for about three hours and all occupants of the home were accounted for and no injuries have been reported.
