Zoom link for Housing Element 6th Cycle Update in Monterey County Thursday evening

COUNTY OF MONTEREY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- For people interested in attending the General Plan Elements Update: Housing Element 6th Cycle Update can do so by clicking the county's Zoom link here: https://montereycty.zoom.us/j/94189045104. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. on November 7.

The meeting will go over the county's Sixth Cycle Housing Element draft that was submitted to the State of California Housing and Community Development Department (STATE HCD) for its first 90-day review on August 19, 2024.

Once the County receives formal review feedback from State HCD, a revised draft will be posted on the county's website for public review, and an email will be sent to all individuals and organizations that requested to be added to the public distribution list.

"This is your chance to share your input on environmental topics for the Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (DPEIR) Don’t miss out on this important discussion," according to the county.
