Monterey County Housing Authority to hold a meeting to discuss housing choice voucher programs

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The Monterey County Housing Authority will be hosting an event with property owners and managers having to do with their participation in housing choice voucher programs.

According to the Housing Authority, not enough property owners and managers lease out properties to housing program participants.

They say that owners and managers should remember that a $500 incentive is given to new landlords when offering housing program participants living space.

The meeting will be held at the Monterey County Housing Authority office at 123 Rico Street in Salinas on October 23 at 5:30 p.m.
