No cost flu vaccinations offered throughout October in Monterey County

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The Monterey County Health Department announced Tuesday that it will be offering no cost flu vaccination clinics during the month of October.

According to the health department, seniors, those with chronic illnesses, pregnant women and young children can get very sick with flu that can even result in hospitalization or death.

They say these clinics are available to anyone six months or older and will be offered at a variety of locations:

  • October 5th, 11:00am-3:00pm: Mee Memorial Hospital, Room 19, 300 Canal St, King City
  • October 7th, 4:00pm-7:00pm: Palma School 919 Iverson St, Salinas
  • October 9th, 1:00pm-4:00pm: CSUMB 3118 Inter-Garrison Rd, Seaside, Otter Student Union Room 210
  • October 10th, 1:00pm-4:00pm: CSUMB 3118 Inter-Garrison Rd, Seaside, Otter Student Union Room 210
  • October 12th, 11:00am-2:00pm: Central Park 207 5th St, Gonzales
  • October 13th, 10:00am-2:00pm: Albert & Donna Olivera Clinic 467 El Camino Real, Greenfield
  • October 14th, 4:00pm-7:00pm: Salinas Boys and Girls Club 85 Maryal Dr, Salinas
  • October 15th, 4:00pm-7:00pm: Chualar Fire 24281 Washington St, Chualar
  • October 17th, 4:00pm-7:00pm: San Ardo Elementary 62428 Center St, San Ardo
  • October 19th, 11:00am-2:00pm: Mid Carmel Valley Station 8455 Carmel Valley Rd. Carmel

Clinics are subject to weather cancellation and vaccine supply.
